Safety chains are ment to be used as safety chains. Our heavy duty chains maybe used as extenders but the thin, fine chains should only be used as a safety chain. Its meant to simply catch your bracelet or watch incase your bracelet or watch clasp fails or pops open as some foldover clasps have been known to do. The thin fine chains are not meant to have constant pull on them, they are too delicate for such a task. Please purchase a regular extender for your "extender" needs.
